  • Texas Parks and Wildlife Department
We seek to balance outdoor recreation with conservation as we achieve greater self-sufficiency. On one hand, we must manage and protect our natural and cultural resources. At the same time, we must generate increased revenue by adding value through more and better public services. We affirm that a culturally diverse well-trained staff will best achieve this balance. And we must never forget, not in the haste of business, nor in the pride of science, that the outdoors should above all be a source of joy! Providing outdoor experiences, whereby young minds form values, will be our greatest contribution to the future.
  • U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Region 2
"The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's mission is, working with others, to conserve, protect and enhance fish, wildlife, and plants and their habitats for the continuing benefit of the American people." We are the only agency of the U.S. Government with that primary mission. The Service helps protect a healthy environment for people, fish and wildlife, and helps Americans conserve and enjoy the outdoors and our living treasures. The Service's major responsibilities are for migratory birds, endangered species, certain marine mammals, and freshwater and anadromous fish.

White-tailed Deer Scientific Breeder Program

If you are a participant in the white-tailed deer scientific breeder program, you are no doubt aware of all of the regulations and administrative details you are required to keep up with. With annual reports, purchaser permits, fawn reports, permit renewal, etc., and all of the associated paperwork, it can get kind of hectic especially during the winter and spring months. However, the service we offer is an “accounting” service of sorts for participants in the white-tailed deer scientific breeder program.

We are interested in helping you manage your scientific breeder program by centralizing all of your paperwork with our staff. We will maintain a database of all of our clients and facilitate our clients in complying with all of the regulatory details associated with this program. We will send out reminders, notifications of regulatory changes, provide and/or prepare your paperwork and make sure it reaches TPW on time. If you need to move deer within 36 hours, let us know and we will assist you in complying with state and federal regulations when you move your deer. Since we are located in the Austin area, we can walk some of your paperwork through the same day (ie. purchaser permits, etc.) just in case you need it in a hurry. As you know, fawn reports are due 1 November. We can update, prepare, and send those reports in for you. These are only a few of the things we can assist you with.

All information will be kept strictly confidential.

We understand that most of you have full-time jobs and that the details can be difficult to keep in order especially during busy times.

We invite you to call to discuss any concerns you may have. If you are interested in this service, let us know and we will send you a pricing schedule. Prices may vary per number of deer you have and per the number of permitted facilities you operate.
